WHITE CROWNED SPARROW

I came across a large group of White Crowned Sparrows at the park near my home. There were a mixture of adults and juveniles. They are in Colorado year round, but always seem to multiply and reveal themselves more in the colder months. I can usually find them digging and pecking through the ground in brushy areas. Or when I am driving down a dirt road, they usually fly up to the trees in large flocks.
